During our trip, we visited one of the happiest places in Australia - Caversham Wildlife Park. It was one of my "must see" in Australia. We spent only 10 days in this amazing country and it was not enough time to see all the famous animals in the wild. Visit in the park is great opportunity to learn more about different species and even have really close contact. 

The Caversham Wildlife Park is located inside Whiteman Park in Perth. Admission to the wildlife park costs $27 for adults, $12 for children, and $19 for students and seniors; fees include all talks, animal feedings, and photo opportunities. The adult ticket is not cheap, but it is definitely worth the price. The park is open every day from 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., except Christmas Day.

The Park holds the largest collection of native wildlife in the Western Australia. It is a family owned tourists highlight with over 200 species, 2000 animals, birds and reptiles. 

The Park offers many shows like "Meet the wombat and friends". We went to see the show and were introduced to a hairy wombat :). We could hug the animal and learn more about the Wombats family. 

The Caversham Park offers also the farm show. The best thing to do in the park is the meeting with Koala and Kangaroos feeding. 

Touching the Koala was a wonderful experience. To get so close to the Koala is not easy in the wild. Koala is known as a symbol of Australia, so the possibility to take a photo with live koalas eating their beloved eucalyptus is precious.

We took a tour around with penguins and dingos and had our life experience with kangaroos.

The Kangaroo feeding is available the whole day. In a spacious environment, we can have a personal moment with wallabies and kangaroos. The kangaroo-food is provided and we can take as many photos we want. 

Caversham Park is one of the best wildlife parks we have ever been to. We love animals so it was the perfect day for us. We were like kids pointing at the animals with huge excitement. The park is very spacious and is preserved perfectly. I recommend it to everyone who wants to see the Australian animals but does not have enough time to explore the country.

Podczas naszej podróży odwiedziliśmy jedno z najszczęśliwszych miejsc w Australii - Caversham Wildlife Park. To było jedno z moich "miejsc do zobaczenia" w Australii. Spędziliśmy tylko 10 dni w tym niezwykłym kraju i nie było to wystarczająco dużo czasu, aby zobaczyć wszystkie słynne zwierzęta na wolności. Wizyta w parku to świetna okazja, aby dowiedzieć się więcej o różnych gatunkach zwierząt, a nawet poznac je z bliska.

Caversham Wildlife Park znajduje się w Whiteman Park w Perth. Wstęp do parku kosztuje 27 AU$ dla dorosłych, 12 AU$ dla dzieci i 19 AU$ dla studentów i seniorów; Opłaty obejmują wszystkie wycieczki, karmienie zwierząt i możliwości fotografowania. Bilet dla dorosłych nie jest tani, ale na pewno jest wart swojej ceny. Park jest czynny codziennie od 9:00 do 15:30, z wyjątkiem Bożego Narodzenia.

Park posiada największą kolekcję rodzimych dzikich zwierząt w zachodniej Australii. Park jest własnością Australijskiej rodziny, w parku jest ponad 200 gatunków zwierząt; 2000 ssaków, ptaków i gadów.

Park oferuje wiele show, takich jak "Poznaj wombata i przyjaciół". Poszliśmy zobaczyć pokaz i zostaliśmy przedstawieni włochatemu wombatowi :). Mogliśmy przytulić zwierzę i dowiedzieć się więcej o rodzinie Wombatsów.

Caversham Park oferuje również pokaz gospodarstwa rolnego. Najlepszą rzeczą do zrobienia w parku jest spotkanie z misiem koala oraz karmienie kangurów.

Przytulanie koala było wspaniałym doświadczeniem. Zobaczenie koala z tak bliska nie jest łatwe w środowisku naturalnym. Koala jest znany jako symbol Australii, wiec możliwość zrobienia zdjęcia z koalą, która je ukochany eukaliptus jest cenna.

Podczas pobytu w parku spotkalismy tez pingwiny i psy dingo. 

Kangury mozemy karmic przez caly dzien. Na wielkim obszarze parku, mozemy pobawic sie z kangurami jak i z wallabies. Na miejscu dostaniemy karme ktora mozemy karmic zwierzaki.

Caversham Park jest jednym z najlepszych parków przyrody, w jakim kiedykolwiek byłam. Kochamy zwierzęta więc to był dla nas idealny dzień. Byliśmy jak dzieci wskazujące na zwierzęta z wielkimi emocjami. Park jest bardzo przestronny i jest doskonale zachowany. Polecam każdemu, kto chce zobaczyć australijskie zwierzęta, ale nie ma wystarczająco dużo czasu na zwiedzanie kraju.

I had heard about the Shark Bay a long time ago when I was not even planning a trip to the Down Under. It is one of the unique places on the Earth. It is one of two World Heritage areas within Western Australia and one of only 16 Australia wide. The bay is located in the transition zone between three major climatic regions and between two major Botanical provinces. It is home to about 10,000 Dugongs! (sea cows), it is 12.5% of the world’s population.The area supports 26 threatened Australian mammal species, and it has 150 species of reptiles. The whale shark - which is the biggest fish in the World gathers in the bay during the April and May full moons.

So, where is that special place?

Shark Bay is 834 km from Perth, and it is about 9 hours of drive. Denham is the friendly coastal town of Shark Bay and offers safe swimming beaches, restaurants, shops, an airport and plenty of accommodation.

Monkey Mia is a dolphin resort 25 km from Denham. The reserve offers one of Australia's best known up-close wildlife experiences. Here you can stand within meters of wild bottlenose dolphins which visit the shores every morning.
From the 1960s fishers and recreational boaters continued to feed dolphins at various times during the day. Now the tradition continues, and dolphins come to the shore every morning to get some fish to eat. The Monkey Mia dolphins have become part of a multi-million dollar industry, and their survival is integral to the economy of Shark Bay.
Feeding times occur between 7.30am and noon. Friendly volunteers choose a few people from public and give them a chance to feed the dolphins.

Not only dolphins visit the shore every morning; you can see there many water turtles and even more water creatures :).

The Monkey Mia´s beach is very clean and calm. Perfect place to relax and to admire the Australian nature.

Shark Bay is the incredible place with many more amazing attractions like the Shell Beach. The famous beach is formed from millions of tiny shells and is one of the only places on earth where shells replace sand. The beach stretches for 60 km with shells ten meters deep. The cool thing is that the shells are made up from just one type of animal, so are the same. We took some cool shots and had fun by throwing shells up in the air :D.

The Little lagoon is the next must see on the way to the Monkey Mia. Denham's Lagoon is a magnificent stretch of calm water ideal for swimming, fishing, and frolicking in the clear shallow pools.

The lagoon has facilities that include shade shelters and barbecues around the lagoon shore. It is an ideal place to chill out and relax.

Watch out for emus on the road! They are frequently seen on the main road to Denham. We have also seen those cute birds many times and almost had a car accident with two from the flock.

On the way back we stopped to see the Hamelin Pool stromatolites which are the oldest and largest living fossils on earth.

Shark Bay is for sure one of the most beautiful places on the Earth and is worth the visit. I wish to spend more time there and to be able to explore the area even more.

Juz dawno temu słyszałam o Zatoce Rekina, kiedy nawet nie planowałam podróży do Australii. Jest to jedno z unikalnych miejsc na Ziemi, jedno z dwóch obszarów dziedzictwa światowego w Australii Zachodniej. Zatoka znajduje się w strefie przejściowej pomiędzy trzema głównymi regionami klimatycznymi i pomiędzy dwoma głównymi prowincjami botanicznymi. Jest tu około 10.000 Diugoń czyli syren morskich!  W Shark Bay znajdziemy 26 gatunków ssaków australijskich, które są zagrożone, 150 gatunków gadów. Zobaczymy też rekina wielorybiego - największa ryba świata gromadzi się w zatoce w kwietniu i maju.

Gdzie więc jest to specjalne miejsce?

Zatoka rekina jest oddalona o 834 km od Perth. Dojazd zajmuje około 9 godzin samochodem. Denham jest przyjaznym nadmorskim miastem Shark Bay i oferuje bezpieczne plaże, restauracje, sklepy, lotnisko i wiele noclegów.

Monkey Mia jest kurortem z delfinami położonym 25 km od Denham. Rezerwat oferuje jeden z najlepszych australijskich doświadczeń związanych z dziką przyrodą. Tutaj można stanąć w odległości kilku  metrów od delfinów bottlenose, które odwiedzają brzeg każdego ranka.
Od lat sześćdziesiątych rybacy i żeglarze rekreacyjni karmili delfiny o różnych porach dnia. Teraz tradycja trwa, a delfiny przyplywają do brzegu każdego ranka, aby dostać ryby do jedzenia. Delfiny Monkey Mia stały się częścią przemysłu, a ich przetrwanie jest integralną częścią gospodarki Shark Bay.
Czasy karmienia występują pomiędzy 7:30 a południem. Przyjazni wolontariusze wybierają kilka osób z publicznosci i dają im szansę nakarmić delfiny.

Codziennie delfiny odwiedzają brzeg; Można zobaczyć tam wiele żółwi wodnych, a nawet więcej wodnych stworzeń :).

Plaża Monkey Mia jest bardzo czysta i spokojna. Idealne miejsce na relaks i podziwianie australijskiej przyrody.

Shark Bay to niesamowite miejsce z wieloma niesamowitymi atrakcjami, jak Shell Beach. Słynna plaża tworzy się z milionów małych muszli i jest jednym z jedynych miejsc na ziemi, gdzie muszle zastępują piasek. Plaża rozciąga się na 60 km z muszelkami na glebokosc dziesięciu metrów. Fajne jest to, że muszle są takie same. Zrobiliśmy kilka świetnych zdjęć i bawiliśmy się rzucając muszelkami w powietrze :D.

Mała Laguna jest następnym miejscem wartym zobaczyczenia w drodze do Monkey Mia. Laguna niedaleko Denham to wspaniały strumień spokojnej wody idealny do pływania, wędkowania w jasnych, płytkich basenach.

Laguna dysponuje zapleczem, w skład którego wchodzą schroniska i grille wokół brzegu laguny. Jest to idealne miejsce na relaks i odpoczynek.

Uważaj na emu na drodze! Są często postrzegane na głównej drodze do Denham. Widzieliśmy również te słodkie ptaki wiele razy i prawie mielismy wypadek samochodowy z dwoma takimi ptaszkami.

W drodze powrotnej zatrzymaliśmy się, aby zobaczyć stromatolity Hamelin Pool, które są najstarszymi i największymi skamieliskami na ziemi.

Shark Bay jest na pewno jednym z najpiękniejszych miejsc na Ziemi i jest warty odwiedzenia. Chciałabym spędzić tam więcej czasu i móc jeszcze bardziej odkryc ten niesamowity teren.
